He provides technical consulting services to utility, independent power, and government clients in the areas of fossil/cogeneration/hydro power plant training needs assessments, program design, development and implementation, as well as auditing of existing programs and materials to ensure compliance with client needs and expectations.

Alex Filar is a Staff Training Specialist with FCS. As a former U.S. Navy Nuclear Master Training Specialist and Nuclear Mechanical, Chemistry and Radiological Controls Supervisor, Alex has extensive experience presenting technical training for both the U.S. Navy and for FCS customers. In addition to his training responsibilities, Alex provides technical services in support of operations, chemistry and maintenance programs for power plants, independent power producers, process plants, and steam producing plants.

Theodore "Ted" Hartman is a Senior Engineer with FCS. He provides technical consulting services to utility, independent power, and a variety of high-profile government clients in the areas of program design, development and implementation. Past projects included Operating Procedures, Maintenance Procedures, Simulator Training Programs, and OJT (On-the-Job Training) Manuals.

Scott Hommel is Vice President and Senior Project Manager at FCS. He has over 20 years of power plant and electrical transmission & distribution related experience and including more than 17 years of training experience. This includes over 10 years in the Navy Nuclear Power Program as both an operator and a trainer, and over 10 years as a training consultant in the electrical power generation, transmission and distribution field. Scott's power industry experience is complemented by  two years as a training consultant in the fiber optic telecommunications field. Scott has experience in all facets of training curriculum design, development, and implementation for all types of training topics in various formats, including paper-based materials and Computer-Based Training (CBT).  As a classroom instructor, Scott has presented a numerous courses for operations, maintenance and supervision, totaling thousands of hours of classroom presentation time. Scott has a Bachelors Degree in Electronics.

Tony Lighty is a Staff Specialist with over 20 years of experience in power generation. Tony provides engineering and technical services in support of engineering, operations, simulator and maintenance programs for fossil fueled power plants, independent power producers, process plants, and steam producing plants. Prior to his work with FCS, Tony served in the U.S. Navy Nuclear Power Program in a variety of roles including operator, electrician, supervisor and over 10 years as a trainer implementing instruction in the classroom, simulator and plant.

Mike McClintock is a Vice President at Fossil Consulting Services, Inc. He has over 20 years experience developing and presenting training for power plant personnel. Mike started his career with gas turbine design at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft followed by 10 years with GE in both gas and steam turbine installation and maintenance in the factory and as a field engineer. Mike graduated from GE's Startup Engineers' Program.  He has developed and taught courses in plant operations, steam and gas turbine operations & maintenance, and in plant thermal performance for both engineers and operators. 

Mike is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Maryland and holds a NIULPE Chief Engineer Certification.

Jeff Miller is a Staff Specialist with over 20 years of experience, including over 10 years as a trainer and training manager. He is experienced in designing and implementing training programs, including classroom instruction and Computer-Based Training (CBT), on a variety of technical and non-technical subject matter. Other experience includes mechanical operations, maintenance, and supervisory positions for the U.S. Navy. In addition to his training responsibilities, Jeff provides engineering and technical services in support of operations and maintenance programs for fossil fueled power plants, independent power producers, process plants, and energy producing plants.

Eric Schauppner is a Staff Specialist with FCS. He provides engineering and technical services in support of operations and maintenance programs for fossil fueled power plants, process plants, and energy producing plants. As a former Mechanical Operator and Staff Instructor for the U.S. Navy he was responsible for initial qualification of students at the Nuclear Power Prototype, including classroom instruction, simulator operations, and written and oral examinations. Eric is experienced in designing and implementing qualification standards as well as auditing existing materials for relevance.

Dale Stevick is a Senior Specialist with FCS. As a former U.S. Navy Nuclear Electronics Technician and Instrumentation and Control Equipment specialist, Dale has extensive experience presenting technical training to both technical and non-technical personnel. His work in the Navy included nuclear control room operator, maintenance supervisor, and engineering shift supervisor. For FCS, he provides instructional support and technical consulting services to power and process plant customers.

Herman Stone is President of Fossil Consulting Services, Inc. where he directs the Company's activities providing training and technical services to the power and process industries. During the past twenty years, Herman has developed and instructed training programs for a wide range of power plant technologies and jobs. He has completed training assessment and design projects for over a dozen power plants or industrial facilities. Herman specializes in power plant simulator procurement, training program development and instruction. Herman holds a NIULPE Chief Engineer Certification and a US Coast Guard Chief Engineer License.

Eric Tank is a Staff Specialist with over 20 years of experience in power generation and chemical systems. Prior to his work with FCS, he served in the U.S. Navy Nuclear Power Program and at a utility generating station as a nuclear control room operator, as well as a plant operator at a public water treatment facility. He provides engineering and technical services in support of operations and maintenance programs for fossil-fueled power plants, independent power producers, process plants, and energy producing plants.

James Wiggins is a Staff Specialist with FCS. He provides engineering and technical services in support of operations and maintenance programs for fossil fueled power plants and process plants. As a former Mechanical Operator and Staff Instructor for the U.S. Navy he was responsible for initial qualification of students at the Nuclear Power Prototype. James is experienced in multiple training methods including one-on-one instruction, classroom instruction, and simulator operations.
