Dave Coile is a Senior Training Specialist at FCS with over 35 years of power plant and chemical plant experience. This includes operator, control room operator, and maintenance technician experience. Dave has over 20 years experience as a training consultant for fossil and nuclear power plants as well as unique facilities operated for the Department of Defense and the Department of Energy. He is experienced in the design, development, and presentation of operator and maintenance technician training programs for fossil and nuclear power plant. He has presented classroom and hands on training sessions for both operations and mechanical maintenance personnel. This training covers both generic and plant specific courses. Dave has held a Senior Reactor Operator Certification and is an approved Chief Examiner for the ARI EPA Technician certification exam

Rick Cragg is a Project Manager with 20 years experience. He provides technical consulting services to utility, independent power, and government clients in the areas of fossil/cogeneration/hydro power plant training needs assessments, program design, development and implementation, as well as auditing of existing programs and materials to ensure compliance with client needs and expectations.

Steve Drosjack is a Senior Engineer with 30 years of power industry experience. He provides technical consulting services to utility, independent power, and government clients in the areas of fossil/cogeneration power plant training needs assessments; program design, development and implementation; and thermal performance program implementation.

Hal Grace brings more than 35 years experience providing engineering, consulting, and training services to Electric Utilities, Independent Power Producers, Industrial Facilities, Petro/Chemical Facilities, and OEM's.  AT FCS Mr. Grace provides technical training and engineering services to utility, independent power producers, and government clients.  Training services include the development of full scope training programs, training material development and classroom instruction. Engineering Services focus on plant operations, maintenance, and thermal performance. Mr. Grace is a recognized expert on steam turbine generator maintenance having authored several publications and has most recently been named ASME committee member on combined cycle power plants.  He has presented over 120 training courses to more than 1000 students over the last six year period.  Mr. Grace is also a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), National Association of Power Engineers (NAPE), and is a committee member of the Combined Cycle Power Plant Committee (ASME). 

Mr. Grace holds the following Professional Certifications and Affiliations:

  • Chairman/President - NIULPE of Florida 
  • Technical Instructor - NIULPE 
  • Licensed Examiner - NIULPE 
  • Chief Engineer - NIULPE

Ted Hartman is a Staff Engineer with over 5 years of power industry experience.  He provides technical consulting services to utility, independent power, and government clients in the areas of fossil/cogeneration/hydro power plant training needs assessments, program design, development and implementation, as well as auditing of existing programs and materials to ensure compliance with client needs and expectations.  He is a graduate of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy with a Bachelors Degree in Marine Safety and Environmental Protection.

Scott Hommel is a Director and Senior Project Manager at FCS. He has over 20 years of power plant and electrical transmission & distribution related experience and including more than 17 years of training experience. This includes over 10 years in the Navy Nuclear Power Program as both an operator and a trainer, and over 10 years as a training consultant in the electrical power generation, transmission and distribution field. Scott's power industry experience is complemented by  two years as a training consultant in the fiber optic telecommunications field. Scott has experience in all facets of training curriculum design, development, and implementation for all types of training topics in various formats, including paper-based materials and Computer-Based Training (CBT).  As a classroom instructor, Scott has presented a numerous courses for operations, maintenance and supervision, totaling thousands of hours of classroom presentation time. Scott has a Bachelors Degree in Electronics.

Vic Madison is a Director and Senior Project Manager at FCS.  He has over 30 years of power plant related experience. This includes Navy Nuclear Power, Commercial Nuclear Power and Conventional Power Plant operations experience as well as training experience. Vic has been a training consultant for 20 years. His training experience includes the design and development of paper-based materials, Computer-Based Training (CBT), and Web-Based Training (WBT) for a wide variety of business sectors. As a classroom instructor, Vic has presented a great number of courses for operators, maintenance and supervisors.  These include both generic and plant specific courses, presented in the US and Internationally.

Mike McClintock has over 35 years of experience in the power utility industry, including over 20 years in developing and presenting training for power plant personnel. Mike started his career with gas turbine design at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft followed by 10 years with GE in both gas and steam turbine installation and maintenance in the factory and as a field engineer. Mike graduated from GE's Startup Engineers' Program.  Mike has developed and taught courses in plant operations, steam and gas turbine operations & maintenance, and in plant thermal performance for both engineers and operators. 

Mike is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Maryland and holds a NIULPE Chief Engineer Certification.

Graham Provost is a Director and Senior Project Manager at FCS. He has over 13 years of power plant and electrical distribution and maintenance related experience and including more than 7 years of training experience. This includes over 9 years in the Navy Nuclear Power Program as a supervisor, operator, and trainer, and time in the Cement and Mining Industry as an Electrical Maintenance Manager. Graham has experience in all facets of training curriculum design, development, and implementation for all types of training topics in various formats, including Simulator and Computer Based Training (CBT). As a classroom instructor, he has presented a numerous courses for operations, maintenance, and supervision, totaling thousands of hours of classroom presentation time.

Graham has a Bachelors of Science in Human Resource Management from the Milano School of Management and Urban Policy and has pursued Graduate coursework in Business at Hood College.

Dave Scheiwe is a Director and Senior Project Manager at FCS. He has 20 years experience in the power industry and more than 30 years experience developing and presenting a wide variety of training programs for industry and government. He has developed and presented courses ranging from submarine tactics to technical writing for engineers. Much of Dave's experience is in the area of power plant operations and maintenance training, having developed classroom, self-study, on-the-job, and simulator training programs.  He also has nearly 10 years experience in power plant simulators, including needs analyses, specification, proposal evaluation, manufacturing and testing. 

Dave is a former nuclear-trained submarine officer, where he was certified as Engineer Officer of Naval Nuclear Propulsion Plants.  He holds a BS degree in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration.

 

 

 

George Schindler is a Project Manager with more than 25 years experience. George provides technical consulting services to utility, independent power, and government clients in the areas of fossil power plant training needs assessments; program design, development and implementation; and operations and maintenance program implementation.

Herman Stone has over 35 years fossil power plant experience. He is currently President of Fossil Consulting Services, Inc. where he directs the Company's activities providing training and technical services to the power and process industries. During the past twenty years, Herman has developed and instructed training programs for a wide range of power plant technologies and jobs.  He has completed training assessment and design projects for over a dozen power plants or industrial facilities. An area Herman specializes in is power plant simulator procurement, training program development and instruction. Herman has conducted training on once through, drum type and combined cycle power plant simulators. 

Herman holds NIULPE Chief Engineer Certification and a US Coast Guard Chief Power Engineer License.
