- Gas turbine and combined cycle plant acceptance tests including development & review of test procedures/ protocols, managing/witnessing testing, developing software/spreadsheets to calculate test results and troubleshooting problems
- Thermal performance improvement programs including use of advanced computer tools
- Classroom instruction especially in turbine-generators and thermal performance
Experience:
- Managed large power plant training and documentation projects for utilities and IPPs
- Developed thermal improvement programs, test procedures, and specialized software for thermal performance applications
- Managed the development and implementation of computer applications for monitoring power plant thermal performance, including some based on artificial intelligence in the form of expert systems
- Ten years Experience with General Electric; served as Lead Turbine
- Generator Erector, Startup Engineer, and Factory Engineer
